Group & History

Kandacork Glass was created in 2007 with a clear goal: build a glass packaging team that understands spirits.

From the beginning, we chose to:

Over time, our work naturally grouped into three pillars that define About Kandacork Glass today:

This focus lets us go deeper on the practical questions: line stability, neck and closure fit, opening feel, decoration consistency and reliable supply over years.

Spirits Bottles – Engineered for Distilleries & Bottlers

We design and supply spirits bottles for:

For each project we look beyond the outer shape:

You can work from a standard mould, a semi-custom adaptation or a fully bespoke custom spirits bottle. In every case, the goal is a bottle that feels right for the brand and behaves reliably in production.

Closures & Stoppers – Matched Systems

What happens at the neck often decides how the pack performs.
We treat closures and stoppers as part of the same system as the bottle.

We support:

For each closure programme we review neck dimensions and tolerances, seal performance over time, opening feel, equipment compatibility and visual coherence with bottle and decoration. The aim is a closure system that works technically, feels good in hand and looks consistent with the rest of the pack.

Decoration & Branding – Building the Look on Glass

Decoration is where a spirits bottle becomes a full expression of the brand.
We offer a wide range of bottle decoration options, including frosting and etching, colour and special coatings, matte and soft-touch effects, metallic and pearlescent looks, screen printing, decals, embossed and debossed details, special-effect inks, hot foil stamping, metallisation, metal and plastic badges, and neck charms.

Every decoration plan is checked for:

We help you choose an approach that fits the brand story, budget and the way the bottle will be used, shipped and displayed.

Design, R&D & Manufacturing

Design, engineering and manufacturing are linked from the start of each project.
Our technical teams plan bottle structure, closure fit and decoration together.

We support you with:

Global Presence & Supply Chain

We have supplied spirits projects for customers in many countries and regions worldwide.
Work is planned with export in mind, including:

The objective is stable supply for core SKUs, with enough flexibility for limited editions and range updates.

Quality & Certifications

For packaging that touches both the product and the consumer, consistency and control matter.

Quality coordination covers:

Where required, we work with recognised third-party laboratories to support food-contact and performance testing for key export markets. Internal quality systems are designed to align with common ISO-style management principles and to support customer audits and inspections.

Corrective Action & Follow-Up

If issues appear, they are handled through a clear process:

The aim is not only to solve an issue once, but to prevent it from returning.

Partners & Key Clients

Since 2007, Kandacork Glass has worked with over 1,000 + spirits customers, including:

All of them need a single spirits glass packaging supplier who can talk about bottles, closures and decoration together and take responsibility for how those elements work as a whole.

Brand assets, technical drawings and moulds are treated as confidential. Custom designs and moulds are not re-used for other customers, and non-disclosure agreements can be put in place where required.

Project Snapshots

Project Snapshots for Kandacork Glass show how we move from standard bottles and quick-launch upgrades through to fully bespoke hero decanters with matched stoppers and decoration. We balance silhouette, neck finish and closure feel with line performance and export packing, so each project tells the right brand story on shelf while still running cleanly through filling, corking and labelling.

Snapshot 1 – Faster Launch from a Proven Bottle

A brand wanted to move quickly without taking on full custom mould risk. We based the pack on an existing bottle, developed a new bar-top stopper and capsule, and added a focused decoration scheme. This created a premium look while keeping tooling and timing under control.

Snapshot 2 – New Shape with Existing Equipment

A growing producer needed a bottle that looked more distinctive but had to keep using the same filling and corking line. We adjusted geometry and neck details step by step, then matched a stopper and capsule system to those dimensions. Line trials confirmed the design before full rollout.

Snapshot 3 – Flagship SKU with Layered Decoration

For a hero product, the goal was a strong tactile feel and metallic highlights. We built a decoration sequence that combined texture and foil, checked durability in handling and transport, and defined packing that protected the finish on export. The pack now serves as the visual anchor for the range.

Sustainability

Many spirits brands now need to show packaging progress as part of their wider ESG work.
In each project we explore realistic options such as:

Every pack has its own balance between visual ambition, cost, technical risk and environmental impact. Our role is to make those trade-offs clear so you can choose what is right for your brand, price tier and markets.
